John “Jack” Herman, 77 of Toms River passed away Saturday, March 21 at home surrounded by his family.
Jack worked as a manufacturing engineer for Martin Marietta Aerospace in Denver , CO , Frequency Engineering in Farmingdale , NJ , and most recently worked for General Electric in Valley Forge , PA and retired in 1997. He had served with the US Army in Korea . Born and raised in Delano , PA , he lived in Mercerville , NJ before moving to Toms River in 1977. He was predeceased by his son Shawn P. Herman in August of 2008.

His wife Margaret “Peggy” Herman
A Daughter: Erin K. Herman of Toms River
Sister: Betty Machuski of Williamsport , PA
And several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jacks life with his family on Saturday, March 28, from noon until service time at 2 p.m. at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River .
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties , 3300 Route 66, Neptune , NJ 07753 in his name would be appreciated.
