Obituary of Ermine R. Costa

Ermine R. Costa, 69, born in Kearny, NJ. Ermine resided in Belleville until she moved to her home in Toms River, NJ. She also enjoyed a winter home in Indialantic, FL. Ermine worked for Public Service Electric and Gas Company as a systems analyst for 25 years before retiring in 2003. Her proudest achievement was graduating from Bloomfield College with Summa Cum Laude honors in accounting. Ermine is survived by her wife, Judith Bates, who were together for 49 years, sisters Loretta Berardino and husband Anthony, Gloria Cartaina and husband John, brother Louis Costa and wife Grace, and also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1pm at St. Stephen's Church, 141 Washington Avenue, Kearney, NJ 07032. If so desired, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
