Obituary of Mary C. Perry

Mary Concetta Scalone Perry, 101 of Toms River, passed away at home on Saturday, March 26, 2016, surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Palermo, Italy and at the age of 5, came to the US, settling in Newark, NJ. She lived in Bloomfield before moving to Toms River in 2009. She was the last of 10 brothers and sisters. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles W. Perry in 2006, her oldest daughter Anna Marie Cosenzo. Surviving are her daughter, Francine 'Chickie' LaMorte; granddaughter SallyAnn LaMorte; Four grandsons, Glenn Veneziano, Michael Mastrantonio, Stephen and Mark Cosenzo; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was loved by her step daughter, Michelle Mclellan and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from Wednesday 4 to 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral service will be offered 10:00am Thursday at the funeral home followed by entombment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the family would be appreciated.
