Obituary of Thelma Veth

Thelma Veth, 89, of Toms River passed away Wednesday, March 18 at the Whiting Health Care Center. Born and raised in Newark , she lived in Kearny , moving to Toms River in 1973. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Veth in 1977. Thelma is survived by: Three daughters: Muriel Averna – Toms River Blanche Schwarick and her husband Bill - South Amboy Patricia McLaughlin and her husband Kenneth - Toms River Son: Edward Veth, Jr., and his wife Stacey - Myrtle Beach , SC. 9 Grandchildren: John Shymanski and his wife Sherre – Ponca City , OK Patrick Shymanski – Atlantic City , NJ April Bohnsack – Toms River Erin McLaughlin – Toms River Heather Veth – Toms River Travis Veth – Toms River Colin Veth – Myrtle Beach , SC Willie Schwarick – Flanders , NJ Sara Schwarick – Flanders , NJ 6 Great Grandchildren: Jared, Courtney, Brianne, Chazz, Ian and Brooke. Brother: Henry Mooney and his wife Dorothy , Idaho Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . A prayer service will be offered 10:00 am Saturday at the Funeral Home followed by burial at St. Joseph ’s Cemetery, Toms River .
