We are all going to miss Paul. Whenever Paul came to our house , it was an event. My wife and kids and a couple of the older grandkids would gravitate to Paul and join the conversation. Of course we started talking about the pool for a minute but then he took us in his wonderful way to discussions about family , politics , and simply making this a better world. He was always pointing out the clearly obvious important things in life which we took for granted. Peace -love-kindness-good deeds-manners...He did in such a modest and polite and definitely a loving way.
We knew Paul for about 18 years. It was an honor and a privilege to have known him.
Thank you
Victor Chouchani.

Still in such disbelief that Paul is not here. The last memory we have of him was once again meeting our need and driving us to the airport just a few short weeks ago! Paul's generosity and kindness mean more to us than these words can ever begin to express. He changed our lives to make it possible for us to home educate our children and had such faith in us. We are forever grateful. He challenged us in our witness to others and we can only dream of being as bold as he was in telling others about the one true God who led his every step. We miss you and love you Pablo!

What a great man of God. It was to me benefit to know him and be close to his family in my youth. Fav Springfield memory? Babysitting their awesome kids (and enjoying lots of Jessica's grace when I wasn't always the wisest babysitter). The especially neat part? It was no short ride from my house to theirs. Mr. Springfield always drove me and we always had the most incredible conversations about life and about the Lord. Thank you Sir.

My deepest sympathy to all who are grieving over the departure of our dear friend, husband, father, and grandfather. Paul was one of the biggest influences in my Christian walk with the Lord. He spent much of his time mentoring me and meeting not only my spiritual needs but my physical ones as well. He was a best friend to me and I'm so thankful that I had the chance to be part of his life. I'm so thankful he was patient with me and gave of his time to minister to my needs. I'm blessed to have so many memories tucked away in my heart and I can think on them anytime I want. Paul wasn't a perfect man but if you didn't have him in your life than you missed out!

The Savior's entire ministry exemplified love of neighbor.
His love and service were often his lesson. In like manner, the teachers I remember best are the teachers who knew, loved, and cared about their students. They sought the lost sheep. They taught life lessons which I shall always remember.
One such teacher was Paul Springfield. I love this man. I met Paul in July of 1998 and ever since then it has been my pleasure to call this man my friend. I will always be grateful for the time I was able to spend with him. He was trustworthy, smart, witty, funny, honest, hardworking, and loyal. A better friend would be hard to find. He was the Best!
I will miss him. Aaron Ellsworth

We are sad to hear of Paul's passing but rejoicing that he was passed as it were, through the river of death and up into the Celestial City which is heaven where he was welcomed in by the King of Glory Jesus Christ. As 1 John 4 says, the love of Jesus was perfected in him while he lived - we all experienced God's love coming through him. Thank you Lord Jesus for living through Paul and blessing us for so many years.

It has been an honor and privilege to have known Paul for 12 years. He was always just a phone call away to solve any problem we might have had and always did it with a smile and friendly face. He would treat us like he'd known us all his life and not just like regular clients. An honest, gentle, caring man is how I will always remember him. He will surely be missed. May he rest in peace.
