Obituary of Richard C. Tice

Richard C. Tice, 73 of Whiting, Manchester Township, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at his home. Richard worked for Ciba Geigy Corp. as a chemical operator for 35 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Bayville Elks, BPOE Lodge 2394 and the National Rifle Association. Born in Pinewald, Berkeley Twp., he was a life long resident of the shore area. Richard is survived by his daughter, Lori Schlossman and husband Dennis of Denver, NC; two grandchildren, Taylor and Jorden Schlossman of Denver, NC; wife, Barbara McCloskey Tice of Ocean Gate, NJ; step-son Eddie Burke of Browns Mills, NJ; sister Mildred Johnston of Whiting, NJ; two brothers, Donald Tice of Oceanside, CA and Robert Tice of Whiting, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Richard's life at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753, on Thursday, May 26, from 6 to 9 pm with a service conducted by Pastor Brian Doyle at 8:00 pm.
