Emilia Florio, 85 of Toms River , passed away Sunday, March 08, at the Shorrock Gardens Care Center , Brick.
Born and raised in France , she met her husband Albino there during World War II and moved to the Bronx, New York . He predeceased her in 1968. She was a former member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in the Bronx . Emilia moved to Toms River 34 years ago.
Surviving are:
2 Daughters: Jeanine Liston of Toms River and Mary Mundy of Huguenot, NY
5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandsons.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 9:30 am Thursday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, 2969 Otis Ave. , Bronx , NY followed by interment at St. Raymond’s Cemetery.
