Obituary of William A. Reed

William Andrew Reed, age 69 of Toms River, NJ went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center in Lakewood. He was affectionately known to most as Captain Bill or Captain Grandpa and will be remembered for his service in the US Navy and work as a computer programmer for IBM and other New York City companies. Loving and giving grandpa, father, brother and uncle to family. We are thankful for his life and miss him incredibly. Friends are invited to attend the interment with Military Honors at 10:00 am on Friday, September 16, at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ, 08562. A memorial service to celebrate his life and meet with family will be held Saturday, September 17, from 4 to 7 pm at the Silverton Volunteer Firehouse, 15 Kettle Creek Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
