Martha Chioffe, age 72, of Berkeley Township, lost her battle with cancer at her home on the evening of October 15, 2016. Martha was a school teacher with the Jersey City Board of Education until her retirement. She was active with the Silver Ridge West Sentinel where she started as a columnist and then served as editor in chief until her health worsened. She was also a member of the Silver Ridge Women's Club and the Diner's Club. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Glen Rock before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1999. Martha was predeceased by her husband Victor Anthony Chioffe and her daughter Martha Elizabeth Klopchin.
Martha is survived by two sons, Martin Robert Reiser and his wife Cristina Isabel Reiser and Michael Victor Chioffe and his wife Tracy Ambrosecchio; two brothers, Martin and Robert Walsh; and her seven loving grandchildren.
