Obituary of Charles Simonian

Charles Simonian, 94 of Berkeley Township, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his home. Charles worked for 35 years as a car salesman for Laird Johnson Chevrolet in Rutherford and Globe Mercedes in Fairfield, NJ. He was Past Treasurer of the Nutley Sportsman Club. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force having served during World War II. Charles was born in Watervliet, NY and grew up in Nutley. He moved to Berkeley 10 years ago. He was predeceased by his step-daughter, Cynthia, his step-son Mark and brother Ovaguaim. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Simonian; sister, Ervant Mansfield; grandchildren, Mark and Matthew Angelo; great grandson, Mark Angelo, Jr., nieces, Susan and John Byrne, Nora and Jerry Masin, Judy and Dennis Young. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Tuesday, from 1 to 4 pm with a funeral service offered at 3:30.
