Obituary of Carole Marie Henning

Carole M. Henning, 81, of Toms River, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Carole worked as an activities assistant at Harrogate Assisted Living in Lakewood, NJ and as a clerk for the Ocean County Board of Social Services, but her pride and joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. The mother of five, Carole was a communicant of St. Luke's Catholic Church and an active volunteer with the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Union City and Framingham, Massachusetts before moving to Toms River 25 years ago. Carole was predeceased by her beloved husband, John 'Jack' Henning in 2007. Surviving children are Michael and wife Eurice, Eileen Curtis and husband John, Kathleen Farrar, Jane Henning, Joanne Sueta and husband Tom; grandchildren Jeffrey Farrar and wife Jill, Daniel, Nicolas and Michael Farrar, Emma and Jack Curtis and Evan and Maya Henning. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be offered Monday, 9:15 am at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
