Obituary of Ruthann E. Surace

Ruthann E. Surace, 73 of Toms River, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at home with her family at her side. Ruthann was the Administrative Assistant with the American Cancer Society in Toms River for 10 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Toms River. Ruthann was a loving mother spending her time with her children and her cherished grandchildren. Born in New Brunswick, Ruthann grew up in Edison moving to Toms River in 1966. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Demetrio (Butch) Surace in 1995. Surviving are her son Demetrio Surace and his wife Maria of Manchester; two daughters, Lisa Seluchins and her husband Richard of Toms River and Christine Seluchins and her husband David of Toms River; two sisters, Kathleen Fredericks and Dyann Cosenza both of Berkeley Twp.; three grandchildren, Chloe and Paige Seluchins and Gabriel Surace. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, 509 Hooper Ave., Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org in her memory would be appreciated.
