Obituary of Joseph S. DeSena

Joseph S. DeSena, 35 of Barnegat, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. Joseph worked for WJH Engineering of Manasquan as an Instrumental Technician for the past 2 years. Born in Englewood, he grew up in Northvale attending Northern Valley High School, Old Tappan. He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from William Paterson University. Joseph then moved to Barnegat 3 years ago. He was predeceased by his step grandfather Henry Mulder and his paternal grandfather Salvatore DeSena. Surviving are his parents, Joseph and Veronica DeSena; two sisters, Dana DeSena-Mell and her husband Christopher, Kate DeSena; grandmother Judith Mulder and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Wednesday from 5 to 9 with a funeral service at 8:30 pm.
