Romeo F. DeLeon, 68 of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Romeo worked as an insurance Counselor for Univers Workplace Solutions of Hammonton, NJ.
He was a devout catholic and a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where he served as an usher and was a member of the BLD prayer community. Born and raised in Castillejos, Philippines, he came to the U.S. settling in Toms River 23 years ago. Romeo was a devoted husband and a loving and supportive father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Marionette Acorda DeLeon; two daughters, Nena Rose and Stephanie DeLeon and her husband Edgar Quiles; grandson, Jace DeLeon-Quiles; two brothers, Father Steve DeLeon and Gerry DeLeon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Resurrection Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, 509 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Cremation will be private.
