Phyllis E. Kiehn 84 of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Holiday Care Center. Phyllis worked as a CNA at Springview Nursing Home in Freehold for many years. She also worked as a Home Health Aide for Senior Care at Home in Toms River. Born in Cambria County in Pennsylvania where she lived until the age of 13. The family moved to Forsgate Dairy Farm where they lived and worked. Phyllis lived in Howell for many years after marrying. She moved to Manchester in 1984 to be near her daughter and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Donald Kloepping who passed in 2007 and second husband Charles Kiehn who passed in 2003 and her grandson, Thomas Kloepping, Jr., who passed in 2014. Phyllis was the 5th of 8 children and was predeceased by them; Charles Simpson, Maxine Leming, Anna Mary Rackmeyer, Ruth Vislosky, Dorothy Shafto, Bernard Gallagher, and Daniel.
Surviving is her daughter Donna Lemanski and 2 sons Kenneth and Thomas Kloepping, 2 granddaughters, 2 great grandchildren all of Manchester and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a very special lady who helped anyone in need at any time. She will be missed by many. Memorial services will be at Lakehurst Presbyterian Church at a date yet to be determined.
