Obituary of Dorothy Bertino

Dorothy 'Dottie' Bertino, passed into eternal life on Monday, March 12, 2018. Before moving to Toms River, she was a medical assistant in North Jersey. Dottie was a former Annulment Advocate at St. Joseph's Church. As a member of St. Justin's parish she had been a Carmelite, Rosarian and a member of the Light of Life prayer group, choir of the Resurrection, and extraordinary minister. Dottie also did masses and monthly liturgies at St. Joseph's cemetery. Dottie was predeceased by her son Donald, granddaughter Brianna Nicole Abbott and her parents Vickie and Frank Dirnbeck. Dottie leaves behind a son, Steven Abbott and his wife Stephanie; and granddaughter Jessica Abbott. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11:00 am Saturday at St. Justin's Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
