Kathryn W. Mead, 82 of Brick, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Sunday, May 20, 2018 surrounded by family members. Kathryn devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren raising them to love and pursue the Lord with all their heart, mind and soul. Kathryn passionately practiced her profession as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years ending her career at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. She loved the Lord her God with all her heart and touched countless lives. She worshiped and fellowshipped at Bethany Bible Chapel, Toms River, where she served the Lord with her musical gifts.
Kathryn is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Daniel Mead; 7 children, Janet Appel, Judy Todaro, Joan Corbo, Joy Mamuszka, Jill Genz, James and Jeff Mead, 20 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two brothers, Sam and James Bechtle and two sisters, Eunice Kaplan and Edith Yerike.
An Open House will be held 2-4 pm Wednesday, with a Memorial Service starting at 3:30pm, May 23rd at the First Baptist Church, 47 South St., Manasquan, NJ 08736.
