I first met Bud in 1991 after I joined Coffin Pump with the plan that I would eventually replace him. I soon learned that at best I would be a pale imitation of the man I was " replacing". I acquired great respect for both his wok ethic and his product knowledge which was encyclopedic. We became friends and after his eventual retirement to Holiday City my wife and I would visit him as my parents were nearby in Silver Ridge North. The mold was broken when people like Bud were made and he will be greatly missed as both a friend and ex-coworker.
