Obituary of Helen Patricia Ritter

H. Patricia Ritter, 80 of Toms River, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018. Patricia owned and operated Flowers by Lee of Toms River for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Ocean County Chamber of Commerce as well as many local charities including the Ocean County Animal Shelter. Patricia was born and raised in New Haven, CT, moving to Toms River in 1949. She was predeceased by her husband Leo John Ritter in 1967, a son, Jeffrey in 1964, a daughter Kimberly Ritter in 2014 and a grandson Daniel Katzin in 2015. She is survived by two daughters, Colleen Katzin and Patricia Kromer; brother Michael Viscount; sister Linda Farrell; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Friday from 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am on Saturday at St. Luke's R.C. Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Ave., Jackson, NJ 08527 would be appreciated.
