Obituary of Theresa M. Henschen

Theresa M. Henschen, 96 of Forked River, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love for her family. Theresa was a loyal K-Mart employee, working as a bookkeeper for 35 years in Eatontown and Toms River until retiring in 1987. Born and raised in West New York, NJ, she lived in Toms River from 1968 until she moved to Forked River 27 years ago. She enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to the casino. Theresa predeceased by her beloved son John Henry Henschen. Jr. in 1967 and her loving husband of 45 years, John H. Henschen in 1985. Theresa is survived by her children, Theresa Bove, John C. Henschen, Veronica Simonetti and her husband Anthony; three granddaughters, Lisa Mullen and husband Michael, Michelle Kotelnick and husband Richard, Theresa Conger and husband Thomas; and five great grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Faith, Dakota and Morgan. Oh the joy of having you as our mother, our grandmother and our great grandmother, It was our privilege to have had you with us for over 96 years. The love and memories you gave us will last forever. You were the 'Rock' of our family and will be missed dearly by all. The family wishes to thank the many family members, neighbors and bingo friends for their loving support during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Monday from 9:00 am until the service time at 10:30am.
