Heather was a mentor to me and taught me so much when I got out of beauty school at the Aesthetics hair salon. She had a great smile and a caring heart! Even though she was struggling with her health she always went out of her way to help others. She was a one of a kind, broke the mold kind of girl and everyone loved her for that! I will miss calling her for hair advice and having her color my hair once a year. (I didn’t let anyone else but her highlight it) I will always remember her big beautiful smile and her carefree spirit. Rest easy my friend.

I’m so sorry for your loss Jill. I loved Heather like a sister... she was always my friend. Always there for you, always making you laugh, always tellin it how it is... but she never judged me... never held grudges... she was one person that could literally make you feel better just by sitting down next to you... no words needed. Heather was a Warrior. I was blessed to have the opportunity to drive her out to Philadelphia for one of her hospital visits before her health had taken a turn for the worst. She had been battling health problems for some time, but never gave up hope. That day was one of the funniest days of my life... filled with humbling examples of “how good we had it” compared to others... we went shopping down on South Street, people watching and trying on ridiculous clothes (mainly just dressing me up)... we finished our day with an awesome meal at Friendlys... and arrived back in TR well after sunset... we made a day of it. Something that was so negative and depressing (another hospital visit) Heather was able to get through it, and actually turn my not so fun “drive a friend to Philly day” into one of the most memorable and enjoyable days of my life. The last time I saw Heather was just days ago... where she selflessly stayed at work after closing for me so I could get a haircut which I needed so bad with a busy work weekend ahead of me... out conversation was light hearted, and positive, as she was the same Heather I’ve always known. I was pleased to get to see her salon for the first time, and was hoping to come back to help replace some lightbulbs after the weekend. I hugged her goodbye the same as I always had, I just wish I had never let go... my thoughts and prayers are with all of you that loved Heather as I’m sure you all are hurting right now. But let’s try to live and love in Heathers light, focus on the positivity and happiness that we all shared with her and carry that with you every day in her memory.

Heather and Laticia...two beautiful souls lost to the living, but will be together for ever in eternal peace...We know all too well the pain that Jill and her beautiful family are feeling, there are just no words..We can only pray for you all to get through this very difficult time.Heather was such a compassionate and caring person, she always put everyone else’s needs before her own...Heather was so comforting to all of us here, and sat right next to us while we made our own heartbreaking arrangements.
