John Wasilczyk, 94, of Toms River , passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, at his home.
Mr. Wasilczyk worked as a baker for the Shop-Rite of Toms River for 11 years before retiring. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the A.J. Weeks VFW Post 6063 of Toms River . He was a communicant of St. Justin Roman Catholic Church of Toms River. Born and raised in Nanticoke , PA he lived in Jersey City moving to Toms River 45 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife Helen Onderko Wasilczyk in 1998.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30am at St. Justin Catholic Church, Fischer Blvd. , Toms River . Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery , Toms River .
