Obituary of Genevieve Barbara Sage

Genevieve "Gene" Barbara Sage, 87, of Toms River, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019. Born in Newark, Gene lived in the North Jersey area until moving to Toms River in 1964. She worked as an Interior Designer for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Sage in 1978 and her sister Joan Siegel in 2011. Gene is survived by her son David, his wife Linda, granddaughter Sherri Hall and her husband Greg and great grandchildren Londyn and Jovie; daughter Cheryl Martin, her husband Skip and grandson Cory Martin. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. A funeral service will be offered Friday, 11:00 at the funeral followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gene's name to the Associated Human Societies Popcorn Park Zoo at www.ahscares.org would be greatly appreciated.
