Obituary of Bennett A. De Sapio

Bennett A. De Sapio, 68 of Toms River, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Bennett earned his bachelor degree in Aeronautics and was a pilot for People Express Airlines. He also worked for Continental Airlines in Newark and retired in 2007 as a manager with Globe Ground in New York. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Toms River. Bennett had a love and passion for cooking that was enjoyed and encouraged by his family and friends. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Bennett lived in Edison before moving to Toms River in 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife Enis Madrigal De Sapio and his son Anthony De Sapio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, New York.
