Robert Joseph Burns, 58, of Manahawkin, Stafford Township , died Sunday, September 7 at his home. Born in Englewood , he lived in Bergenfield before moving to Manahawkin. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He is survived by: His mother: Elizabeth J. Burns of Bergenfield , Two brothers: Scott Burns of Walker Valley, NY; and Joseph Burns of Bergen County Sister: Kathleen Hoffman of Atlanta , GA Friends are invited to gather with the family at St. Justin’s Catholic Church, 975 Fischer Blvd. , Toms River for the celebration of the Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 9:30 am.
