Salvatore Cirasola, 91, of Berkeley Twp., passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019. Salvatore was a New York City Transit Police Officer for 20 years, retiring in 1979. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he moved from Rosedale, Queens to Berkeley Twp., 30 years ago. Salvatore was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. He was a member of the Toms River Italian American Club and was a lifelong Brooklyn Dodgers and NY Mets fan. He is predeceased by his wife Rose Marano Cirasola in 1984. Surviving are his son Joseph Cirasola; two daughters, Antoinette McGann and husband John, Mary Navetta and husband Frank; grandchildren, Ryan Leonard, Andrew Navetta and wife Alyssa, Kevin Navetta and Gabrielle Navetta, Nicole Dulberg and husband Jon; great grandchildren, Taylor and Jordan Dulberg and Nathan and Eva Navetta. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at the Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 am on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, 08757, Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
