Amy Marie Rawlins, 30 of Seaside Heights, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Amy was born and raised in South Toms River and was a straight- A student while attending Toms River High School South where she was good at sports. After graduating from High School, she continued her education attending college studying Massage Therapy. After receiving her certificate, she not only loved working as a massage therapist, she also enjoyed teaching others the art of massage therapy. Amy had a big heart for all animals. She was predeceased by her mother Cheryl Alaimo, her Mom Mom and Pop Pop Alaimo, and grandpa Rawlins.
Amy is survived by her father, Mark Rawlins and his wife Christine; 4 brothers, Joseph Calderone, Lance DiMaria and fiancée Marlena, Mark Rawlins, Jr., Jeremey Rawlins; sister, Samantha Calderone – Ritter and her husband Kevin; 2 step brothers, Zachery DiMaria and Thomas McAteer; step sister, Brittany McAteer; paternal grandmother Barbara Rawlins; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm with a funeral service at 7:30pm. Cremation services will be private.
