Do you dance? Three simple words, one little question that started it all for us. Married 62 years, Dad and Mom did everything to give us a beautiful life. Dad worked a lot to ensure we would have a great education and have everything we needed. Sure he missed some things but family security was always first. He provided for us, grandparents, brothers and sisters. He loved his family and gave us a foundation to build strong relationships with those we love and taught us to always do what is right. His love for life, family, and education is enduring. I will miss my Dad but he walks with me and those he loved everyday. I will miss my father but Dad is dancing with Mom now and lying head to head. So, can you dance? Yes Dad, we will continue the dance. ❤️

Dear Ruby Jean, Donna, Mike and Families,
We are so saddened for all your sorrows and pain in this most trying time. Be comforted he is at rest and with his beloved Ruby and in the arms of our Lord and Savior! He has always been a Joy to all and full of Laughter, his greatest traits that we will dearly miss. He needed to celebrate his 90th with Ruby at his side.

While Ray was in the hospital in Ocala and I was visiting him he was told his daughter in law was there to visit him (to his surprise). When I walked in his room he laughed to see it was me and told me I will always be his daughter in law, he will always be my father in law.

Raymond and Mike were one of the first neighbors we met at our new community. Our kids lit up every time Raymond would have a little chat with them and they definitely felt his absence after his injury. Raymond was such a breath of fresh air and always so kind and charismatic. It was a joy to see Mike and Raymond all the times they were out on their driveway those early mornings. Our family will miss you Mr Raymond!

I’m so happy I got to know Raymond even though it was for a short time, but I felt very close to him. He was always so happy and smiling every time I saw him. He never once complained about anything. My first day on the job, I was making breakfast for Raymond. I decided to make scrambled eggs but I was told his favorite eggs was a western omelette, afterwards it became his second favorite lol. Raymond loved his wife and children very much. One day while he was having our daily chats, he mentioned to me he wanted to be with his wife but didn’t want to disappoint his children. So he can’t give up on life. One of my last memories while we were doing exercises, he said he was going to have a party for his 90th birthday and was excited for it. But I guess God had other plans for Raymond. God wanted to celebrate with him. I will miss him very much. Thank you Mike for everything you’ve done for your Dad. Love, Hemma
