George was my friend as soon as he moved in across the street from us. I ran over to help him move in, and enjoyed his company from the start. He helped me with my boat and small projects in my garage. I wish I had more time to spend with him. We shared a special moment with him when he opened up about his dad, and his love for him. We had tearful time of prayer. My heart is broken.

George, I will always remember when you came over to see Dan and the first thing you would do is come over and give me a hug and kiss! Then you either work on your truck or his depending on what needed done first. When Dan bought your old blue truck ( he lied and said you gave it to him), I was upset but now I’m glad. Every time I see Dan driving it or he’s visiting and I see it out front my house I will always think of you!!! You and Dan were friends since elementary school and I considered you my other son!! Will miss you!!! Bridgett and family I am so sorry for your loss!!! His laughter and smile will be greatly missed!!

There were so many mornings George and I would pass each other in the wall yard. George is someone I couldn’t help but stop and ask what was new, he was always smiling and joking around. I prayed with him on multiple occasions. I worked with him the Tuesday before he passed away. We swept up the street together with mud all over our hands chuckling and excachginv jokes, he was asking questions about faith in Jesus. I will miss him dearly and will look for him in heaven. To his wife and children and the rest of his family I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, George was a great man and a very hard worker and he loved you with all of his heart and talked about you often.

George, on behalf of all the Brostow family we’re so sorry we won’t be able to attend your memorial. We will always remember you as our favorite neighbor. Thank you for always being willing to lend us a helping hand as well as be a friend and come for a boat ride at any time. We’ll miss you but will always be here for Bridget and your babies.
