Dear Bob and family, I was saddened to hear of your mother's passing. A long time ago, she was very kind to me. I was a very young single mom with a beautiful little girl and your mom made it a point to give me some very beautiful hand smocked baby clothes. It was such a kind thing to do in those day....and a huge show of support to me. With her mom, she had me stop by and spent some time with me holding the baby and telling me I would be fine. I have never forgotten that act of kindness and have often made it a point to pay it forward. Her kindness lives on. We lived on Gladney Ave. too for many years and miss those days.
