Kathleen Lewandowski, 86 of Toms River, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Kathleen was a manager for Surf Enterprises operating Surf Skilo on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. She worked there for 31 years, retiring in 2002. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Toms River. Born and raised in Jersey City, she moved to Toms River in 1944. Kathleen was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Theodore Lewandowski in 2012.
Surviving are a son, Robert Londress, Athens, AL; two daughters, Claire Londress, Southampton, NJ, Kathleen Lewandowski, Ft. Lee, NJ; daughter-in-law Susan Shroyer Londress, Athens, AL; three grandchildren, Carly Londress Macris and husband Chris of Decatur, AL, Amy Londress Simmons and husband Mike of Athens, AL and Leonard Londress of Decatur, AL; two great-grandsons, Joshua and Nicholas Simmons of Athens, AL; adopted daughter, Judy DePstrokonski of Southampton, NJ.
