Dear Christopher,
I’m sorry that you left this world long before you should have. I am glad we had dinner together on Thursday night and so grateful that you planted those two Cana lilies for me. I keep starring at them. I can still remember giving you a hug and a kiss goodbye. Remembering how your whiskers scratched my cheek and me telling you that you need to shave. You just laughed, hugged me tighter and said I Love You Mom, I will see you tomorrow morning. I guess things don’t always work out as planned. I keep starring at the driveway imagining you walking up “Saying hey Ma you cooking dinner tonight” or to hear you “Laugh” one more time. Your laugh was so contagious. The only peace I have is that you are with our Savior now in a much better place than here. I can’t lie. I am a selfish mother and I’d rather you still be here with us. I will cherish every memory I have of you forever.
