Obituary of Christopher Joseph Beckett

Christopher Joseph Beckett, 27 of Toms River, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 29, 2018. Christopher was born in Lakewood and was a lifelong resident of Toms River. After graduating from Toms River High School North in 2010 he worked as an electrician's apprentice and various construction trades in the Ocean County area. Christopher had a large and loving family with whom he loved spending all his time and they will continue to cherish him deeply. He is survived by his parents, Lisa Beckett and Thomas Johnson; his fiancée Jenna Blouch; brothers, Christopher Johnson, Isaac Studen, Tommy Johnson and Adam Beckett,; sister, Allyssa Von Oesen and her husband Kenneth Von Oesen; maternal grandmother Donna Nelson and her husband Robert F. Nelson, Jr.; maternal grandfather Jeff Beckett and his wife Valerie; sister in law Valerie Rod. He is also survived by his niece and two nephews whom he loved very much. A memorial visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Friday, July 6 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with a memorial service being offered at 7:30pm.
